Schedule Pinterest posts with AI

A Pin is created on a board, or on a section of a board, that the account owns, with a title, a description, a destination link and alt text. Pinterest says it has simplified organic formats to image Pins and video Pins; a video Pin is registered, uploaded as an MP4, MOV or M4V file and published with a cover image.

Pinterest reserves the create call for new content made by the user. Saving other people’s Pins to your boards is meant to go through its Save button instead. An account holds up to 2,000 boards and 200,000 Pins.

Pinterest’s developer guidelines list Pin schedulers among the tools it expects, with one condition: an app may not let people start actions automatically without considering each one. Its own example is scheduling, where “the end user must choose each Pin to be published”. A tool that turns a feed into Pins therefore has to put each one in front of you first.

Every app starts with Trial access. What it creates are sandbox Pins and boards that only their creator sees, and the whole app is limited to 1,000 requests a day. Standard access, granted after Pinterest reviews a recording of the app in use, is counted by the minute for each user.
